I write in ink to see the stains. The words are coursing through my mind,
but mostly I just sit and cry.
I left my soul inside your head. I hallucinated something you had said,
but mostly you just put me down and I stayed in bed.
So what does it take? You tell me that.
When I write my book, the story goes a kick in the teeth, a punch in the nose.
The words for me are hard to say. I suffer through them everyday.
And I just want you to hear my pain and to relate.
I want to say some old cliché, but oh what the fuck, here it goes anyway.
I guess it's not what you keep, it's what you make.
But if you keep holding on to your thoughts than what you make is the byproduct.
how could you not make something so precious?
